Dreams really can come true! This weekend we said that someone in Michigan should hire the ad wizards behind Carly Fiorina’s pro-Vichy avant-garde campaign ad. Now more than ever, Michigan needs sheep on phallic pedestals and demonic man-wolves. We need a leader with vision to make that happen. A leader like Rick Snyder. Read the rest of this entry »
State to demolish Matty Moroun’s sunblocker
This was a tough weekend for Mr. Smithers Dan Stamper. His boss, and object of his homoerotic fantasies, C. Montgomery “Matty” Moroun, has to demolish his fancy new duty free store because the Bridge Company violated pesky property laws. Typical government over-regulation. These judges, with their “precedent” and “rule of law,” don’t care what happens to those poor truckers. They need their tax-free liquor. Apparently, public right of ways are more important. This used to be a great country. (Windsor Star) Read the rest of this entry »
The U.S. Secretary of Education, appointed by famous lackey of the capitalist oppressor class Barack Obama, can’t say enough good things about Robert “Bob” Bobb. Unlike the class conscious warriors of the Call ’Em Out Coalition, Arne Duncan really digs Bobb’s efforts to steal Detroit’s educational jewels from an inept political class and waste said jewels on actually educating the Detroit Public School’s predominately African-American student population. Thank the God in Joann Watson’s head that the Rev. Reverend David Murray is there to fight back. Apologies to Trigg for this post. (DetNews)
Monica Conyers: petty thief
When Diane Bukowski was busy defending Monica Conyers, her as ally in the ongoing class war to defend Detroit’s precious jewels from the running dogs of suburbanism was fucking over the actual working class every time she had lunch. Monica thinks paying the bill is for the little people and not the wife of the House Judiciary Committee Chairman. So basically the waitrons at Mosaic had to pay Monica’s bill out their pockets. Awesome. Jim Papas didn’t mind so much because John Conyers flip-flopped on that toxic well thing. A fact wholly unrelated to the Papas-Monica-Riddle business three-way. Did you know only one of the Columbine victims was African-American? Because of racism! And only Sam Riddle was brave enough to speak out about this injustice. Or something. We’re getting this from the Michigan Citizen’s Diane Bukowski and she’s never been much for details. Or facts. She certainly never lets facts get between her and a strident polemic on the class struggle. Read the rest of this entry »

The 2010 State of the State
My fellow Michiganders, I stand before you tonight for my final State of the State address. Listening to media speculation, it’s clear that I’m expected to lay out a tough, bold agenda; a plan to move Michigan forward and cement my legacy as Michigan’s first female governor. I don’t intend to do that. Instead, I will be completely and brutally honest about my plans for this final year as your governor. Read the rest of this entry »
DeDan “The Bull” Milton takes a plea
Beloved deadbeat dad DeDan Milton still owes $17,000 in back child support but he can’t pay because no one gives him bribes anymore. We don’t have to say allegedly anymore because DeDan pled guilty today. Oh and that whole thing about how DeDan Milton would never say anything about convicted felon Kwame Kilpatrick? Yeah, he was misquoted. Allegedly. All we know for sure is that, maybe, he’ll avoid jail time by cooperating. Hopefully, the feds will put him in the witness protection program. They don’t call Bernard “killer” because he plays piano like Jerry Lee Lewis. (DetNews) Read the rest of this entry »
Jesus saves Shrek from Monica Conyers-style insanity
Ken Cockrel testified in the Sam Riddle trial. He said it was strange when Mrs. John Conyers was all opposed to the Synagro deal up until the moment she voted for it. Things like that don’t usually happen, even on Detroit’s dysfunctional City Council. Riddle’s lawyers conceded that Monica’s behavior wasn’t “normal” but they also accused Cockrel of not being batshit crazy like Monica. This is true, Cockrel agreed, and thank effing God. Monica was listening to the voices in her head instead of the monies in her pocket. That’s reasonable doubt! If Law & Order taught us anything, the prosecution should argue reckless endangerment if they want to win. (Freep) Read the rest of this entry »
